Thank you to all who attended my Breast Augmentation & Lipo Seminar

I had a great time Tuesday meeting with and speaking to a wonderful group of people interested in Breast Aug and Lipo procedures.  One of the biggest takeaways from these events is how educated potential patients can be, and how interested they are in learning about the various products and procedures available.  Almost anyone with Internet connection can do a search and get a long list of results for various cosmetic surgical procedures, but there is something special about interacting with a group, all of whom are meeting with me for the same reason – to take action and feel better about their outer beauty and confidence.

Cosmetic surgery can be an incredibly personal journey.  For some, it means feeling confident; closing a deal or securing a promotion at work; it can be a boost for a recent new mom who is not quite comfortable to fill her closet full of “mom jeans” and baggy shirts. A procedure can provide higher self- esteem for someone re-entering the dating scene, and for others, it’s simply a way to have their external appearance match their internal image. One of the greatest rewards as a surgeon is seeing the gratitude in patients who look in the mirror and finally smile at what they see.

I talked about the various types of implants available, and how the new techniques and imaging technology have made Cosmetic Surgery more efficient with shorter recovery time and more personalized to each patient’s specific needs. Our guests were excited to hear about my 24 Hour Rapid Recovery Breast Augmentation. Many patients experience minimal bruising and discomfort, and are able to return to normal activity in 24 hours.

Liposuction continues to be one of the most popular procedures in the United States.  Despite its popularity, there is still some misinformation about the procedure itself and the results a patient can expect.  All patients are different and may have varying personal results, but the purpose of liposuction is to remove excess fat from specific areas such as abdomen, sides, legs and arms.  With the introduction of new technologies, we can also smooth and shape the areas treated as well.   Cellfina™ is a great new way to treat cellulite by targeting the connective bands under the skin that cause the dreaded, “cottage cheese effect.”  Cellfina™ is a minimally invasive procedure, performed under local anesthesia.  We identify and isolate the areas of cellulite and treats each one individually.  The result is permanent for the areas treated, and offers a quick recovery.

I enjoyed the seminar, and will be offering more in the future on a variety of topics.  Our next event is on Wednesday, June 8th at 7pm at the George Martin (The Original) in Rockville Centre.  I’ll be on hand to discuss general Cosmetic Surgical Procedures, and to answer questions from our attendees.  Food and refreshments will be served, and an RSVP is required. Call my office today to secure your place.
