What is a Liquid Facelift?

In middle age, every face begins to show the effects of time, revealing imperfections and a loss of gravity-fighting collagen. Wrinkles form, and formerly toned, plump features may begin to sag and appear gaunt or sunken. It is natural for women and men to look for ways to rejuvenate their look and recapture a youthful complexion. Facial cosmetic surgery is a good option, but is not for everyone, and some seek an easier and more affordable alternative.
Liquid facelift uses a combination of collagen-enhancing, injectable products to plump, fill, smooth, and re-contour the face. Injectable fillers can soften or erase wrinkles and provide a visible lift to cheeks and drooping areas around the mouth. Results of a liquid facelift will generally last six months to a year, with BOTOX® Cosmetic touch-ups recommended every three to four months. The liquid facelift does not duplicate the results of a surgical facelift or mini facelift and cannot eliminate loose, excess skin.
